Welcome to the practice of Dr. David Adams.

Dr. David Adams is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthodontics, diligently serving the Great Lakes Bay Region since 1985.

In today’s fast paced world where we hurry only to wait and are often treated in the impersonal manner of that “big box store” experience, it is our goal to provide service on a personal level, the way it used to be. Here you will find a warm, comfortable atmosphere where we enjoy making new friends.

Since orthodontic therapy often involves a long term relationship, it is important that we share a mutual bond, including trust and respect. Our professional treatment is one of quality over quantity and is based upon both proven methods that have withstood the test of time and the latest orthodontic advancements.

Dr. Adams practices the Tweed Philosophy which, at its core, develops treatment objectives based on individual patient needs.

These personalized goals are met through custom manipulation of the arch wires by Dr. Adams, so that the teeth finish within the natural boundaries of the patient’s facial form. This not only provides a beautiful smile but also positions the dentition for maximum health, function and stability.

Multiloop Edgewise Arch Wire (MEAW) therapy is another treatment form used routinely by Dr. Adams.

Mastering this rigorous discipline requires substantial training and experience. It facilitates better, faster and more complete correction of even the most difficult orthodontic problems. There are many instances in which MEAW treatment is a viable alternative to surgical orthodontics.

Invisalign/Clear Aligners

We offer Invisalign as an option to those individuals whose malocclusions are suitable for correction with clear aligners.

Announcing Our New Digital Intraoral Scanner

An Intraoral scanner provides a 3-D virtual rendering of the oral structures. These images can be utilized for diagnosis, treatment planning, appliance fabrication, and patient education. It can also provide an immediate projection of the corrected dentition. In many instances digital scans can eliminate the need for impressions.
